        Win 231 for 9mm and 45ACP. Also use Hi-Skor 700X because I have a bunch of it.
        Never loaded a 40 or a 57(whatever that is?)
        Plenty of other choices also.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

First - load what you can find. (and good luck on pistol powders)

but... if I had my choice - HP38 or W231 for most all non-magnum pistol
but I have also used accurate #5 and Green Dot without incident or issue

I like hodgdon and Winchester powders because they have a pretty good online load data system. A faster burning powder like win 231/HP-38 or IMR 700x will be best if you want one powder for all 4 of those calibers.

Preference aside, I have been buying any pistol or shotgun powder I see in stock locally. And I haven't bought very much lately. I hope you have the opportunity to choose what you WANT vs what's available. Sit down and look at published data of the cartridges you want to load to familiarize yourself with the different powders.

I tried WST a while back because that was all I could find and I liked it a lot. It's a low volume lower velocity as well. It is also noticeably cooler running than titegroup

You can try gunbot.net, but short of finding any there you're probably SOL unless you can find some local for you.

My vote is for HS-6, but I only use it in 9mm and 40SW so far. HP38 in the 45

Winchester super field and super handicap have been showing up.

I prefer the Hodgdon/Winchester/IMR load database.

What ever you can find? I made myself a list of powders that will work, and check it once I actually find powder.

As mentioned try gunbot.net and check it often, pistol powder goes fast.

                              I recommend...you buy the powder that's available.
