    Reloading Shops Reno/Tahoe area(results)

I posted a trhead earlier this week about a short trip I was making to the Reno Tahoe area looking for reloading shops/gun shops.

I only had about 3-4 hours tooplay with so it limited what I could do.

    The results:
Cabelas: They had some Federal Automatch .22lr 325 packs for 21.99(limit 500 rounds per day per customer)
They had some primers, didn't see any powder.

Scheels:They had some rifle powder, none I really needed, alot of primers. They do have a great selection of reloading tools and presses and componets.
Lapua brass,Saturn funnels, 50 bmg cases,Dillon 550 and 650 on display,Mec shotshell loaders on display exc. Lots of nice rifles on the floor waiting to be fondled(which I did)
A carousel in the middle of the store(I didn't have time to ride it) a nice salt water fish tank.
I like Scheels alot more than Cabelas.

    Last stop.

    The good news:
They have quite a few different reloading tools and componets. Some powder(not alot) some primers alt of Xtreme and another local brand I don't remember Silver State or something.
The reason I don't remember, when I first walked in I saw some .22lr including the Federal automatch I purchased at Cabelas for 21.99.
Mark Fore price 99.00.Are you kidding me? What is this two years ago? Then I look at the projectiles 64.99 for Xtreme 9mm 500 boxes.

    What the heck,
How much for a pound of Benchmark? 49.99 Gee tempting!! I'll have to think about it I said as I ran out of there screaming like a little girl.
I won't be going back there!

That's all I had time for.

    Had a great time though.

I hope this is not a dumb questions, but is it legal to bring powder and primers across the border to Cali?

Thanks for the response, I was hoping that's so...I do go up to Lake Tahoe occasionally and Reno is fairly close...unfortunately Mark's post above doesn't seem prices are too good at most places.

Good to know I can bring stuff across the border if needed. I wasn't sure if the Hazmat prevented crossing state lines or not. Thanks.
