Brass collecting

Have you guys used these in the desert with any luck. There are lots of small rocks and hard pack where I shoot at and even though I try to get most of the shells to land on the tarp some got out of bounds. Also will the extra small pick up 22LR cases as well as 30-06?

the extra small will pickup some 22lr, but if you combine 22's with larger cases, they tend to fall out while you are picking up larger cases.
It works best when picking up a bunch of cases of the same size.

Um, How do they work on Gravel?

Richmond's Range uses that crushed granite stuff and likely it would pick up more rocks than brass or am I wrong?

It would not work well on gravel when the brass is down in the gravel.
If the brass were on top, it would still pick the brass off the top.

I just got mine, put them together, went to the garage and dump brass on the floor. These things are great! I was going to give the one for shotgun hulls to my dad but, now I'm not sure if I want to let it go.

I got my nut wizard for Christmas from my son - He about fell over when he asked me wwhat I wanted for a Christmas present and said "how about a nut wizard"?

He ordered, I got it and I love it.

The first thing I did though was to rebuild the pole/handle so I can unscrew sections to fit into my range bag - I used PVC and some threaded couplers - works slick - I got the extra small

Being eyed by 20 armed guys who are on there knees looking for brass and cant do anything about it is an empowering feeling.
