If you load and don't or haven't used a "lee loader" or some type of hand loader you are simply not a real re-loader. Everyone should have one, how else do you work up a load at the range without taking your whole setup with you?

I actually find myself using my Classic Loaders more than my press for bolt action rifle loads. For pistol I would not trade my LEE Classic Turret for anything. I used to crank out tons of ammo and then I started getting into more precision rifle loads and found my way back to the Classic Loaders. I bought a LEE Hand press for making 300 blk brass on the comfort of my couch and then started using it for loading my AR ammo. It is funny because I would never want to do pistol ammo on a single stage, yett I have no urge to utilize my bench mounted Turret press to load rifle ammo. It's probably because when I load rifle ammo I weigh every charge, I trim every case and I would rather do all the extra steps in the comfort of my living room since my kids help me ( great family time ).

It is so funny to break out the Classic Loader or the hand press at the range and see peoples reaction. People are amazed at how simple and safe it is to reload.

Ah, the old LeeLoader. First excursion into the reloading hobby was in 1968 with one for .308. That's the only one I ever intentionally bought for use.

I still have several which I picked up in bulk deals, garage sales, and had a few given to me from non reloading aquaintances.

I've given several others to folks who want to try the reloading hobby.

          No longer use them myself

I cut my handgun teeth on a Dan Wesson 15-2 vh, and cut my reloading teeth on a Lee loader. Nyclads were the rage like powder coating is now. I bought a pound of pistol powder, used the scoop to "measure", and never had a squib load in hundreds of loads. Never split a case, no issues.

I still have both, but I haven't used either in a long time. Now that the bench is set back up, I'll have to remedy that.

Started reloading with one , now have one for each I reload for , just in case I run into a broken die , broken press or work away from home . They are great for working out aggressions with , WHACK WHACK WHACK , keeps people out of the man cave because they are afraid they might just get a few whacks .
