    anyone loading 9x25?

I have load data from glock talk, and some scans from what seems to be an old lyman manual (which are very light), but that's it.

Any extremely hot but vaguely accurate load suggestions would be great.

Also, any idea for the round count I can expect out of a lone wolf barrel w/ 9x25? I read various claims of 3,000 or so, but that seems unlikely.

    Thanks!

Not sure about the velocity but I'm shooting 14 to 16 gr of H110 out of my Large Frame Witness with a 115 gr. bullets(as always start low and work up to this load). Not sure about the round count but myWitness has fired many rounds and has shown no i'll effects yet. I like this barrel better than my 400 Corbon barrel.

My only question is why only 3000 rounds? I have a 357 magnum with more than 40,000 rounds through it. More than half of them Magnums burning H110 or Blue dot. 3000 rounds seems like rifle burning territory.. Something with those hyper velocity 224 caliber varmint calibers...

I think the hotter light bullet loads were around 1,800+ ft/s, so the claim was you'd wear out the barrel.

However, this was from the same source that said the concussion of shooting 9x25 would give you tendonitus, so the accuracy is questionable.

Cool! What type of accuracy are you seeing? H110 w/ 124gr montana gold didn't seem so great accuracy wise, but maybe just b/c the bullet isn't made for higher velocities.

AA#9 14.1gr seemed reasonable, though I think below max.

Haven't got to try the H110, but I test a run of AA#9 14.7gr pushing a 124gr bullet. "Detonation" was the word that came to mind to describe the effect. The cases seem fine, from what I can tell (though I didn't mic them to see any pressure signs).
