    Transonic Berger Performance

Hi, I have a box of the Berger 185gr Match Hybrid and the 185gr classic hunter both in 308 caliber. I shot an email to Berger but I was wondering if any of you knew the answer.

How well do either bullet perform once they go transonic? I know that they have a Juggernaut that is supposed to be transonic stable at sea level but I was wondering how the others fared.

Don't know the answer. What you did is the right way to go (email berger). You will probably get better info from accurateshooter. I know the OTM bullets berger makes are designed to perform better in the transonic zone.

Still haven't heard back from Berger. Anyone else out there know the answer?

Rep didn't answer the question as to how it compared to the juggernaut but he did say that with my setup and stability factor it should be pretty stable through the transition.

Alright... guess I just have to load some up and try them out.
