Eric Danis is the guy who came up with the 510 DTC.

Anyway, if you want a .50 Cal. rifle you can still get one, it just has to be in 50 DTC. Most of the .50 Cal manufacturers will make you one as they want to keep the market open for us in CA. The only two that don't/won't are Barrett and Armalite.

If you want a Serbu BFG or a State Arms/ERG in 50 DTC, those two are the cheapest and probably best built for your money. From there the price tag goes up or you can get an upper in 50 DTC for your AR lower.

Heh, a guy from EDM Arms tried to tell me once that he "invented" 50 DTC. I said, "Ah, so you're Eric Danis, then? I thought you were French."

...he was NOT AMUSED. "Well, uh, I'm the guy who brought it over here".

I did a writeup on the DTC / Europe history a while back.

The combination of The Gun Wiki to our system is not only in line with what we are working on, but will also serve as a means in which to build upon our ongoing projects.

Well, technically someone at EDM did develop their own version of the DTC. Of course, that was only because someone at EDM made a mistake.

        DiscoBayJoe,
Although, generally I agree with you about all things french. Eric Danis, or Dantec on some forums, has to be held in high esteem. Without his work, we would not have had a proven and easy to make wildcat ready to help us.
