    Xtreme bullets

Any shops from Berkeley to Danville area carry xtreme? Most Fridays when I drive home to the foothills I can't get to Shotgun Johnny's or The Gun Shop before they close.

    thanks

You can buy on line from Rocky Mountain Reloading. You will have them in two days with free shipping.

I liked there plated better then Xtream.

Why not order online? Shipping from xtreme is 5 bucks and the prices online are typically better than in store.

Both rocky mountain reloading and x-treme bullets are good. I always order on-line because the price is 20-30 % better and no sales tax. I prefer rocky mountain because in my experience their shipping is faster.

Might have to try RMR, I'm also a creature of habit and it's hard to stray

just placed order to xtremebullets.com Grand Total: $294.71 for 2000 .38-158 HP and 1000 9mm-124 RN HPCB. they are running 5% off total order until this friday midnight. since they ship from carson city nevada i usually get them in about 4 days. not bad for a flat $5 shipping fee. i always found ordering direct to be the easiest and cheapest. they are now selling primed and unprimed brass. havent tried it yet but i might buy a lot of 500 to test.

Pick up range brass in calibers you don't need and send it to them for credit.

Just wait until extreme has free shipping. I bought 1,000 124gr 9mm for ~$80, a week ago. Im satisfied with my purchase after reloading and shooting 200rds.

I have had zero issues w/ X-treme, but a few with mixed 115/124gr from RMR were non-uniform (SOME [6-10 per 1000) flat-bottomed that get shaved do to this), but the rest are great!

                          From xtreme' website:

                          Load Info

Our Copper Plated Bullets can be run at mid-range jacketed velocities or higher end lead velocities. We recommend keeping velocities to less than 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and using only a light taper crimp

Any velocities over 1200 FPS we recommend either our Heavy Plate Concave Base or Hollow Point products for superior accuracy. We recommend keeping velocities to less than 1500 FPS (Feet Per Second) and using only a light taper crimp

I noticed that their primed .223 brass is cheaper than their unprimed .223 brass. When they say "primed" brass, do they mean it comes with new primers in place? Or do they mean that they didn't bother to remove the spent primers before processing the used brass for resale? The picture for the primed brass shows brass with no primers. I emailed them this question a week ago, and they never responded with an answer. Does anyone know?

I load mine using lead data, better safe than sorry.
