Freedom Munitions 9mm very high jam rate

I bought a bunch of Freedom Munitions 9mm 115 gr. RN Reman a few months ago.

Went shooting on Sunday and with the H&K P30L:
-in a 10rd mag, on average 5 rounds stovepiped and did not eject properly.
-1-2 would also fail to feed and would jam the slide with the un-fired round partially fed into the chamber.

I shot 250 Freedom rounds for the day. There were a few mags that fired flawlessly, but it was maybe 4 total (not many).

My P30L also shot a 100rd white box Winchester without a single jam.

Should I email them about it, or ?? I have not tried it in another pistol yet.

However, I also shot their 45 Auto 230 gr. RN Reman in a 45c and did not have a single jam in 150 rounds.....

the 115s are notoriously under-powered (not to terrible but pretty bad) but your issues sound magazine related.

I should note this was NOT part of the recalled batch they had a few months ago. Not that I know what the recall was for...

I'll have to try it in the P226 soon. Maybe that will be ok with the lower powder loads.

Well, looks like I should have gone with the 124's then. I did some searching but I guess not enough because I saw a few comments about the 115 being ok for general target shooting and didn't come across those comments about FTE or FTF issues...

I would be surprised if that were the case, with both magazines being new (>100 rounds in at the beginning of the day) and genuine H&K.

new mags are often the cause of issues. have you broken them down and lubed the mag, conditioned the spring, etc?

I did take them apart and lube the internals when I got them. I don't know if I conditioned the spring because I am not familiar with that.

But I also didn't have trouble with Winchester 9mm ammo.

Also, is this a cause for both FTF and FTE jams?

I bought a case of the new 9mm 115. It ran without a problem in a variety of pistols, and was consistent...consistently under powered. Groups at 10+ yards were 3-5" low. Blazer brass/federal/Win same distance, dead on.

Probably won't he buying any more once I run out of what I have.
            Sorry, not sorry.

Reloading press, kinetic puller, powder, and a scale.
              Issue resolved.

Going to have to shoot the stuff I've got myself to see if I get a similar result or not.
I didn't believe it at first either. I was sure it was me, mostly due to spending 5 hours in the yard with a weed whacker, broom, blower, and a rake on Sunday. But then I switched to the other brands of ammo and they were all on target. I could have easily put a 3x5 card between POA and impact. And it got worse as I pushed the target out farther.

I didn't take pics this time (), but I will shoot it anyway, so I'll take some pics next outing and post. Probably in a couple of weeks.

that is pretty darn under-powered. i stopped shooting their 115s about two years ago now. i never had that issue. my problem would be that new guns didnt properly cycle. guns that were running heavily used springs would cycle fine.

i shoot all my handguns at 15-20 meters.

                        I shot a lot of freedom stuff, 9mm, 40, 45 acp, 556 and never a problem.
