    Cheapest .300 AAC bullet?

What is the cheapest bullet you have been satisfied with in your AAC loads? Just looking for something to blast with that is safe and cheap.

anything you LOAD other than factory. Many people like tp use the speer tnt's. im not familiar with lead loads as i like to use FMJ exclusively, pull downs or over runs are pretty cheap, just need to have an eye out for the deals.

There's been lots of feeding problems on 300blktalk with those 203gr red ones. I gave up after have to load 1.8 and shprter.

I'm going to cast a 180Gr soon and currently run xtreme 150gr plated.

Are you using those 150gr FP xtremes? What COAL are you loading them to? I've loaded some in the past and had feeding issues. I'm using normal m4 feedramps on my AAC barrel.

I have been using 147g milsurp M80 pulled (when available) new when not, FMJBTs, new are about $180 per 1k. When you can find the milsurp pulled, I have picked them up for as little as $85 per 1k, but it's been a while since I've found them.

Then it's 18.6g of 1680 in home formed brass, so your looking at about .23 per round or so when using new projectiles, or about .17 per round with pulled. Ive been using this recipe for the better part of 3-4 years now for range use and carbine classes etc. and have had no issues at all, with a round that hits like a ton of bricks.

Man save that 1680 for the heavy weights. Try H110 for the light weights

lil gun works for me. I'm using 150-180gr so far. Really would like to find a casting mold for a long 110gr. Tumble powder coat, bake, then shoot at 1800+fps.

These are where its at for 300 plinking

308 150gr Flat Point Bullets, .308 diameter. These bullets are new plated bullets. Entire bullet is plated so there is no exposed lead. Please note that these are plated bullets and may not perform well at normal 308 velocities. Low velocity Blackout, 308 and 30-30 are good choices for this bullet.
