I usually go by what the Brassman sells it for. He has fair prices. If it's processed (crimp removed, tumbled, sized, etc) it will usually fetch a slightly higher price. I think most of the places that do this for you charge about $10-$30 extra per 1000. If it's once fired and one brand it goes for a bit more. If you picked it up of a LE range or if it's mixed, it'll fetch less money since it is going to be more trouble to process it.

That's been my experience. I generally try to trade brass for something I want if I can at some kind of ratio based on what it's worth comparing to brassman.

Down here in SD at South Bay Rod & Gun Club they sell .223 for $25 per 1k once fire .223 brass, that comes to about a lil over .02 cents a piece. Not bad at all. Check with your local gun ranges first.

That is a smokin' deal, do they have a steady supply of it? If so I may have to make a run down there.

They always seem to have it. I am not sure if you have to be a member though. I have only purchased 2k from them and it was all from the same lot Remington RP head stamp.
