Can't help with the proven load but have you explored other non lead bullets? The barnes' are a bit more but have always done me good. I never played with the gmx due to many people saying they were having accuracy problems.

Haven't tried the GMX, but the Barnes 127 LRX shoots one ragged hole with my Swede at 100 yards. I went with these due to the lower FPS expansion threshold. The 120 TTSX shot great too.

I will be watching this closely as just about all reports of Swedish Mauser's and some modern actions not liking the copper bullet for accuracy. I plan on hunting and will need to have a consistent result. I was just searching this out tonight and was getting disappointed with little information or reports of reloaders pulling their hair out on finding that sweet spot. From what I have gathered the Barnes 100 and 120 grain bullets are tough to figure out. The 140 grain copper bullets are better, but are being outperformed by conventional factory loaded ammo.

Awesome! Off to Cabelas to buy some bullets. Non tipped version of TSX? I assume you were using the Howa 1500 and not a Swedish Mauser. Still finding many reports that original Swede Mauser not liking the all copper bullets.
