    .22 Waldog ??

I have a very nice rifle that I can purchase for right at $1,000. It has a Panda action and a a very nice stock. I think the barrel is Krieger. The rifle appears to be in excellent condition and it is my understanding it has not been used much.

    Here is the questionable part:

    The caliber is 22 Waldog.

I am just getting into reloading and I wonder how much time/money this caliber will require.

The seller is providing some brass and a die set, but I still have reservations.

Does anyone have any experience with this caliber ?

    Any recommendations ?

    Thanks

Seems like an amazing amount of work, not to mention very expensive. Guess if you've got the time and money for an obscure round, then why not.

I can't imagine why someone buys a rifle in a caliber like that other than to say they have a 22 waldog.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
