    38 super brass

Have a question on 38 super brass. Which is better to use , the plus P or the competition brass. Are the plus P brass stronger than the competition , since you are not allowed to pick up your brass and why is the competition brass cost more.
I reload and don't compete ,i would like longer life on the brass. Thank you CG

Same brass different head stamp, at least that's what Starline says. I shoot 38 Super major power factor with any brass I can pick up, never had a problem.
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

38 Super Comp is a semi rimless case. This allows you to increase capacity and feeding reliability. Not all guns that shoot 38 Super will allow you to use this cartridge. It might in your gun though. The extractor most of the time must be tune to run one or the other but sometime it will run both. The 38 Super Comp also has a thicker web so case capacity is a little bit less.

Go here for more information on the 38 Super.
