9mm OAL .010" below normal - Shoot them or pull them?

While loading up some 9mm on my 650, I noticed that the lock ring on my seating die had become loose, and the bullets were being seated about .010" deeper than normal.

Here's my recipe:

9mm
X-treme 147gr RN plated
Titegroup, 3.1gr (~128 PF)
WSP
1.150-1.160" OAL

The affected rounds have OAL from 1.140-1.150".

Should I be worried about shooting these rounds? Is a .010" OAL reduction enough to cause concerns with overpressure, etc.? I'm hoping they'll be fine, considering this is a bunny fart IDPA load that's nowhere close to max.

I made a few hundred rounds before noticing the die was loose, so I'd obviously prefer not to have to pull them, but I will if I have to.

I run 3.5gr Titegroup under a 147 RN Xtreme seated at 1.150. Shoot em!

.010" is the approx thickness of 3 sheets of average writing paper.

Your pressures with that load will be around 22,000psi. You could literally double your pressure and still be fine. You've got a pretty mild load with a huge safety margin.

With Titegroup it's hard to say. You can probably seat it .010" deeper and you're still within safe pressure levels. Then another .010" you'll get a sharp pressure spike because you're bullet although plated but heavy.

I think a generic rule is that 0.1inch shorter doubles pressure. If you're at 22k psi now, you could double the pressure and have a hot +p+ loading. May be safe depending on your gun.

Thats pushing real close to the edge with a guess, and titegroup might not respond to that rule. Id still say 0.050 shorter would be safe. Thats a light load.
