    ZQI 5.56 ammo brass case

Although I don't reload yet and since there is panic buying going on these type of ammo. This YouTube videos caught my attention.

Has anyone had some issues with ZQI brass for reloading?
I thought I would share since some of u guys would probably end up reloading these brass

I guess this is the remedy to the zq brass case.
This guy is talking about the guy in the first videos.

Does this happen pretty often with reloading ammo?

Watched the videos. The first kid is setup with too many gadgets. I do it all with a L.E. Wilson chamfer/reamer. It takes care of the primer pocket, inside, and outside of the case all with one hand tool...I've reloaded hundreds of MKE 10-14 head stamped 5.56 AND 7.62x51. I have never ran into any issues with it.

IMHO there isnt a remedy needed. I think the younger kid in the first video is destroying his primer pockets in that press with his swage kit.

That ZQ1 brass looks soft. At first I thought it could be oversized gun chamber. Looks like the brass doesn't spring back like it supposed to.

ZQI 5.56 and 7.62x51 brass reload just fine.

The older guy on your 3rd video explained what could or might be wrong with the set up of the kid's gear on the first vid. Sizing die not seated at correct depth and possible over swaging the primer pocket using his power tool.

I bought a couple of boxes of .308 ZQI, my 308 build is still a long way to go. But I'll keep a note of this.

Well the young guy said the 308 was good but had issues with 556. So who knows. He never had issues with other brass

I shot a box through my MVP and then necksized with my LEE Classic Loader for my reloads through the same gun. I am about to do the 3rd reload in the same brass and no issues so far.

Here is me YAAAY, I am on youtube.

I should Clarify that the video is with commercial brass, But I reload the ZQ1 brass just fine with the LEE LOADER and my LEE single stage press. I really like the brass for reloading.

So no issues with reloading zqi 556 brass.

I never hve annealed, The ZQ1 stuff is so cheap and annealed already so I am using it exclusively for my bolt gun, for my 55gr plinking rounds I use any brass I can find and shoot it through my AR. 23.5gr of N133 powder and a 55gr FMJBT works great.
