Well let me sell all of my reloading equipment because I truly care what you think about me.

Its a brand new rifle. It Was sent back for Rem TRIGGER RECALL work.

So they could replace one pos trigger with another? You mean to tell me you don't have the ability to install a Timney or equivalent?

Yes I could install a trigger on it but I have not fired gun yet. Why replace it with an aftermarket trigger if I have no idea if I even like the stock one? i did the same with my 10/22 and pistols for IDPA. Put a good amount of rounds down range before i put i decided to installed a trigger and any other accessories

Know this: No one likes the stock trigger on a Remmy. No one.

Will need to set a date for a basic reloading club group class in April. Possibly the 5th.

I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. There was a lot of information to learn but everything felt smooth and relaxed.

If anything it was nice to hang out with a bunch of cool guys.

This was not only an informative and educational class but also very enjoyable. Along with covering everything mentioned above, we got to take home a custom made tool to help measure the chamber length of our specific rifle. Thanks to Peter and Robbie for taking the time to explain the details to me when I had extra questions.

I haven't shot the rounds that were made in class yet. I kind of want to frame them or something. But from what I learned from the class, I was able to make more rounds.

I'm still testing... and here is me having fun. Nothing scientific... but.... lookie at what I can do at 100 yards...

6 inch, 1 inch thick steel plate, just messing around.


8 inch, .25 inch thick steel plate, 4 shot group and two are touching. Took my time on this one.

I know it's not the best grouping in the world, but here are my results from the ammo loaded from this class. I think 41.5 grains was my best 4 shot group. Should I break it down further? Maybe 41.3 - 41.7 in .1 grain increments? Would it be worth the effort?

Sorry, I'm not understanding your post and how it relates to this thread. Did I do or say something wrong? Care to elaborate?
