    Alliant 1200-r

How has your experience with this powder been. What loads do you use in your auto-loader rifles?

Wow that must be pretty fast powder. Alliant lists 22.9gr with a 55gr sierra at 3228 fps.

Im curious too. That would be an economical powder for bulk 223 blasting.

This is my go to powder now for my 223 with 55gr pills. I have used Varget, Tac, IMR 4895 and AR Comp. I really like it a lot and it meters nicely in my LnL. Everyone that shots them, really likes them. I haven't really seen how it groups at 100yrds but I know it can hit a 12" steel plate at 400 yards with ease out of an AR. I also like it because it is fairly easy to find and cheap. Work up a load though. I started at 10% bellow Alliant's start load and at 22gr started seeing flat primers.
