.40 cases formed to .357 SIG

Took me a good hour or so and 10 cases, but I finally got my .357 SIG dies set up.

Using 115gr .355, the hardest part was getting the bell/seat/crimp with no setback. Had bullets literally falling into the case. Finally backed it off and found it worked with NO belling - gives no set back with the shorter neck due to using .40 cases.

Just need get the powder dump set and I should be off tp the races.

Will eventually pick up some real .357 SIG brass, but from my research, this should work just fine as long as I'm not loading too hot. I'm guessing those cases may need a little bell.

    That is all.

What's the COL and OAL on your newly minted 357SIG cases in comparison?

I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

        OAL is set to 1.14
        COL is 0.84

Not too far off on COL.
But .357sig cases are rated to 40k vs 35k of the .40 s&w. I like to load hot, so i will eventually be using the .357sig cases.
