Does anyone know what mfg makes the 62 gr steel core bullets?

I know there are a few places that sell them but all are sold out due to the scare now.

        Widners had a deal C77 New Mil-Spec 223 62gr SS109 Bullets $60.00 / 500 Prepaid

You're a couple days late to the party. They only show in stock items. The SS109 "STEEL" core sold out a couple days ago.

Did anyone receive their SS109 order? Placed mine on the 15th and got email on 18th that order was completed. USPS isn't that slow since they are just north of us.

Yeah, I ordered from somewhere else and it hasn't showed up. Something tells me these vendors aren't happy about the sales made before they had a chance to raise prices. Sears did this to me on Black Friday with a phone that sold out. When I asked why it hadn't shipped yet, they just cancelled the order!

Sears is the worst retail organization on planet Earth. I will never miss an opportunity to bash them.

Its a crappy 3 MOA bullet, I don't understand the rush/need to even plink with it.

Everyone needs to practice accurate shooting with decent ammo/projectiles/handloads.

                      Its the hits that count.

It would be nice if they actually ship the stuff you pay for. It's been two weeks since I ordered and no movement yet.

                            For Wideners

DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING DEMAND FOR M855 AMMUNITION AND COMPONENTS, WE ARE CURRENTLY AT LEAST 14-17 BUSINESS DAYS BEHIND IN SHIPPING.

                            That's nearly 4 weeks.

Back in stock at Wideners for $70 /500 w/shipping, it will be interesting to see how long they last. Midway is once again sold out of Hornady .224 55g fmj in all quantities.

                              Cheers,
