No, that's a little too much damage. Very likely wouldn't chamber anyway.
Looks like the result of a double misfeed / chambering jam. Are there any bolt-lug gouges in that dent?

Risk what? For $.40? Do not use that, as said, it won't chamber anyways. Seriously, it is not worth the money lost for the potential damage or physical harm.

Use the same rule for what you find in the back of the fridge. When in doubt throw it out.

Id prob say a dent should be no more than 1/8th of an inch? maybe even 1/16th?

that dent looks like it took a hard hit vs some brass ive seen with small dimples or dents.

thing is some people have different doubts!! hah
some might doubt a red light on the gas tank will get them to the gas station, some doubt a 1/8th of a tank

some might not have that good of judgment but im pretty sure most everyone agrees that rd should NOT be fired

Thanks. Im not going to use it. It came in a brand new sealed box that way. There are not gouges or other marks besides the big dent.
