    Fed Up With Photobucket

Would appreciate any suggestions on alternatives to Photobucket. In posting pics to this site, PB has become increasingly loaded with graphics, ads, and trash that makes it difficult to use. There interface has also become a pain, and today I was blessed with three pieces of malware hiding in their pop ups.

I would like a free site compatible with Calguns that is free of all the trash.

I think when you ask for a free site, you can't help but get ads...

Photobucket used to be great, but for some reason it's become awful to use.

At one point I thought they no longer took care of the site and it was running amok.

I've so many pix on it too

I second Flickr. Images can be made private and all you have to do is grab the image url to post. It's also free and you get a terabyte of storage.

imgur.. easiest one to use and has the least amount of issues. YMMV

Thanks for the suggestions. I just found out that Photobucket infected me with something that is giving me a "Windows Powershell is Not Working" message that shuts off my internet. Malware bytes and Avast are showing nothing, so I suspect I have a real problem.

How about running an ad blocker. I have not seen an ad on a webpage in years now. Nor had to deal with popups (or pop unders).

Infected ads are real but not common.

Are you sure it came from photobucket and not all that porn you were enjoying?
...but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.

Photobucket? Jeezus. While you're at it, also get rid of your hotmail account...

I just use Google+, all the pics I take on my phone automatically get backed up, then I just log in, go to photos, and copy the URL of that pic and paste it. Quick and easy, of course you need to have a Google account, which most of us should have by now.

a few people have mentioned imgur, but I tried the mobile version (and their regular version) on my Android smartphone it did not work smoothly, though I was able to make it work.
