    Craigslist/Firefox Connection Issues

I have been using Firefox for around 10 years and never had problems connecting with Craigslist. The last two upgrades have given me nothing but grief since about 40% of the time that I try to connect with Craigslist or to sign into my account once connected, I get error messages. Sometimes I have to retry 5-6 times before I can get a solid connection.

The Firefox forums are of little help since they suggest cleaning the RAM cache or restarting. If I use Explorer or Chrome, I have no problems, nor do I have similar problems with any site other than Craigslist. I have tried deleting and reloading Firefox as well as going back two earlier versions, but this problem still plagues me. Malware scans show nothing, so I am at a loss here.

    Any suggestions?
In an emergency, always dial 1911.

This might have been your problem...
      Attackers Hijack Craigslist Domain Name

If I were you, I'd change my password immediately.

Thank you for that suggestion. I hadn't thought of it.

Also, check your Advanced settings in Prefs/Tools and check Networking, make sure you have "No Proxies" selected. Firefox 33 changed my settings on this and I couldn't load certain websites, though I had not tried with Craigslist.
