Xbox type smart Blu Ray player?

Hello all. Im thinking about upgrading the living room TV to either a PS4/XBOX1 or just a "smart dvd/blu ray". Are there any smart blu rays that carry Xbox/Microsoft style navigation systems? Or at least a decent smart blu ray? Thanks

There are plenty. Do you also want games? If so get the X1 or ps4.

Oppo makes a good one, just don't expect a Windows Media Center Extender feature and you should be good.

You think maybe you can list a few?

Thanks. Pretty pricey though. The xbox1 was at the top of my list for price and I found one with a few games for $350. I was hoping to spend less than $100 on a blu ray player considering I never watch blu ray and I just need a "portal" for wifi.

If you only need a wifi portal, you could get by with a Roku or Apple TV.

Like I said before, if you want games, then a console is a great way to go and additionally get blu ray capability and internet media consumption capability.

There are some great games out for the X1 and this month, there are a bunch of new releases (Like Halo MCC or COD, or Sunset Overdrive) that are top teir games.

If you don't care about blu-ray or games, then you are much better just getting a media box for your TV. Roku 3 is a great way to go unless you are heavily invested in the apple-verse. In which case you probably want an apple TV.

If you are invested in the amazon-verse then the amazon Fire TV box is really nice (and the voice command works well).

If you want to go even cheaper, you can just get an amazon fire TV stick or a google chromecast stick.

Sony blu Ray players in the $80-$100 range come with the same interface and online streaming ability as the ps4, pretty much everything except the games.
