I'm looking for an every day carry video recorder.
Sure, I have a smart phone. No, I don't think it's useful for this purpose because it involves too many button presses to get to the point I'm recording (especially when my job requires 8+ character strong pass codes to even get to the main menu).
selection Criteria:
1) size (small dimensions, light weight, fits in pocket)
2) ease of use (ie one button to start recording)
3) hands free (ie go pro ish where you could clip it to your shirt collar to record your point of view hands free)
Any suggestions?
Do you think a video recorder is a good EDC item? I've concluded I want to keep one on me after Watching the Ferguson stuff unfold, and watching "open carry" videos where LEO "harass" open carriers even though they're obeying the law (note I don't agree with their approach, but that doesn't mean I agree with LEOs getting to harass people who are breaking no law simply because they or the public doesn't like the behavior either).
