Mac files to NTFS Drive

Ok I need to move a bunch of Avi and other movies files from a storage drive that was written with Mac using my win machine onto an external drive...I want to use my dual HD cradle to do this and my drive is NTFS...i have win7...will it work or will i need a 3rd party software? I dont have the Mac drives yet so Im researching first

If you have a mac computer also, you can hook them both up on your network and copy the files that way. This is just if you don't want to use third party software to do a drive to drive transfer.

ok guys thank you for responding..Im doing it now..I borrowed a Mac and i put them on FAT32 first and now Im copying those on my win machine to my final drive

In case you run into the file size limit of FAT 32 drives (4GB), NTFS is your best option for use on the PC. Since you said the files were video formats, you might run into that ceiling.

Since Macs don't natively recognize NTFS drives, a third party software comes to the rescue: Paragon NTFS for Mac. It appears on that webpage there is a link for a free 10-day trial version too.
