but the basic stuff like vlookup, etc. yes you can do that w/o programming

I got a BS in business in 2001 and worked in an accounting department for like 7-8 years before I ever heard of vlookup. In my particular situation, it wouldn't have been all that helpful even if I had known, but I still felt like the most ignorant person in the world when I realized that so many others knew how to use it.

Lynda.com is great, youtube has samples of their lessons. they are extremely in depth and well made instructionals.

if you're into to torrenting, everything you want is found there. I like to sample to the product there and if it's worth the money go purchase it.

If you really want a challenge, try to find anything detailed about using pivot tables.

I work in finance and learned almost everything I know on the job. Every place I worked at someone had some slightly different twist on what they did or how they did it. I'd also recommend watching youtube videos.
