ADVICE NEEDED ON GETTING URL FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHS

Greetings,

I don't know much about computers or the internet; I can do very basic tasks on my computer.

I have taken pictures that I want to show on this site.

When I click on the "insert image" button it says "please enter the URL of your image."

My understanding is that I must upload my photographs to a site such as Photobucket that will affix a URL to my photographs.

Should I use Photobucket or do you recommend another site?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I use Photobucket. Haven't tried any other hosting sites so I can't compare it to anything. I like it, very easy to use, only complaint is they change their whole damn interface up every few years and you have to figure it out all over again. I hate that but can't complain, as it's free.

I use Image Shack, pretty easy once you get used to it.

+1 for photo bucket. Very easy to use for people not computer-literate.

1.) Upload files
2.) Click file you want
3.) Click IMG on the right out of the 4 options (Emal & IM, Direct, HTML, IMG)
4.) That will copy the URL you need and then just paste it into the text area on your thread.
