True enough. The new LTE models work on the GSM bands. Dunno if LTE is coming to the CDMA version. Either way, the 3G version is still ~$100 in their prepaid packages, can't be beat when it comes to price/performance.

I'd rather get a standard android phone, that looks nice but the first thing I'd want is to flash it with the plain OS minus all the Amazon features.

I've heard Nokia's new X2 (which is made by Microsoft) is a killer at only about $130. I rock a Nexus 5, but the screen is massive and I'm almost shy to pull it out in front of people. WTT for a Razr V3 in cobalt!
That's funny. I was going through a junk drawer the other day and found 2 of my old Razr's. I really miss them, they were great phones. I would switch back but the smart phones have to much to offer to give up.

I didn't settle with waiting for a "flagship killer" for last years phones and got a Huawei Ascend Mate 2. The one that was announced last month and shipped at the end of the month. OnePlus could learn something from Huawei (then again they are partners with another chinese company, Oppo). Maybe they were hoping to drum up sales of the Oppo Find 7A (same phone as OnePlusOne ~$100 more and currently in stock! )

Congrats! Those invites are quite rare... But jealous actually.

Post your honest review on the beast.... Any yellow screen issues? Spare invites?
