My business is changing offices. We have never used VoIP phones and have no experience with them whatsoever. The new office should have a good, fast internet connection (but we won't know for sure till the buildout is complete). Currently, we have a few POTS lines in a hunt group, plus a dedicated fax line. With the changes, we'll probably need only two lines at the new office, plus another line for a work-from-home employee, PLUS a dedicated fax number with actual fax machines at both locations (most of our folks can use a fax, but are not computer savvy at all). Ideally, we'd like the fax machines to both receive all incoming faxes at the two separate locations. Nextiva is the only VoIP provider I've talked with, but I have no idea how reliable their service is.
So... what do you guys recommend? Anything to be wary of? Any small business VoIP providers you'd recommend? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice you can offer.
