Are you upgrading your phone or eligible?

I have the Galaxy S3 on Sprint and I'm due for an upgrade. It seems like the S5 and the M8 are top picks right now. I'm excited about neither. I'm curious what your using or thinking of upgrading to.

Sticking with my Samsung Stratosphere II as long as humanly possible, because it has an actual keyboard and none of the new ones do. I just can't stand the virtual keyboards.

I'm due for an upgrade as well. Had a razr until it got wet and is dead now. So looks like I will have to buy something. Looking at HTC M8.

Same page... cursor keys save hours of your life a week, and many typos avoided, which is why the majority of iPhone users never correct much.

I'm happy with my flip phone, I was due for an upgrade along time ago.

I only use it to make a call or receive a call. When the thing stops ticking I'll probably have to make a decision.

I've been eligible for an upgrade since 2011. Unfortunately, upgrading will result in signing a new contract and losing my unlimited data. I guess I'll keep my phone until it dies. I refuse to pay $500+ for a new off-contract phone.

Who still does a contract? Im with sprint and they wont do one anymore. I tried switching to tmobile and they are the same way. I refuse to spend more on a phone then I can find a old vw for.

If you are on a GSM phone, then you can buy one on eBay (many times NEW), and just SIM-swap. I think the hard-coded phones can be imported assuming they have a "clean ESN" I think it is called... Keep your plan forever.

Hell T-Mobile was charging more than the Google play store for a Nexus-something, when my lady got one.

I was in a similar situation a couple of weeks ago. I settled on the HTC One M8. I've been eligible since 2010 or so. I was afraid to lose my Sprint SERO plan. In the end, I got to keep my plan. I couldn't be happier.
