    Embedding YouTube on a post

    Hello Tech-wans

I tried doing a search for a solution here, turned up a couple of threads on it, but didn't quite have the solution.

I am trying to embed a YouTube video into a post, and tried using the YouTube wrap button however, I can't seem to get it to work. I am on Windows, using Explorer, tried Firefox, and that doesn't work either). This is what it looks like after I do it:

    http://youtu.be/14URdqHJRcQ?t=1m47s">http://youtu.be/14URdqHJRcQ?t=1m47s" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

No embedded video as you can see. This is what the text looks like just before I send the message, except that I removed the / before the YOUTUBE wrap in the end, so it will display what it looks like to me on the message body before sending :

    [YOUTUBE]http://youtu.be/14URdqHJRcQ?t=1m47s[YOUTUBE]

    What am I doing wrong?

    Any help is appreciated!

You almost had it. For the video you were trying, you'd only use the following: 14URdqHJRcQ?t

So, when composing your post, click the YouTube button in the text box, enter the bolded part (you need to be using the "Post Reply" button on the bottom left, not the "Post Quick Reply" box on the bottom of the thread).

Edit: Here's Kes' thread which explains it better than I do: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=86685
