OutfoxTV removal help

On my PC running Firefox I have gotten outfoxtv. I have looked up the different ways to get rid of and the popular way seems to be resetting Firefox. I keep doing this and it keeps coming reappearing (as opposed to reinfecting) and I don't down load anything.

Anyone have any tips? I'm thinking it's "living" in Firefox and want to delete and reinstall firefox. Before I do that thought I would see what you all think

Find the folder named outfoxtv in C:/ programs files or C:/program files (x86)

open the file and there is a uninstall.exe

Double click the unistall.exe and it will take you through the unistall process

That program leaves a bunch of junk on your pc. You should download https://www.malwarebytes.org/, and https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner to clean up all the mess that outboxtv leaves. Both free versions will work. Make sure to do a registry clean with ccleaner.

also go into your browser setting and disable or remove any addons or extensions that you didnt install. when you install a new program read all of what it says during the install. if you just click next it will install addons and change your browser setting and its a pita. also during the install process alot of installers make it look like you have to choose accept but usually you dont if you look a little closer.

Thanks guys. I did remove the folder after, and ran my 2 malware programs after..... so far so good, no more trying to change my homepage at least
