I find it easier to view and browse new posts. That can be especially helpful if you're looking for an item in the marketplace.
I like the convenience of being able to have an app that's custom fit to my screen. You miss out on a few features, like extra smileys but who really needs those?sigpic

If you're on an apple device running ios 7+ You will be able to view all videos. for some reason some videos cant be viewed since the upgradeComment

No. There is no advantage whatsoever.
(And yes, i'm on iOS 7, and I don't have any problem with videos.)

one advantage is you get an alert on your phone when you get a PM , If you want to check the forums on your phone I think it's easier to navigate then the web based platform.. but I don't know about posting pictures and all that.. but for browsing it works for me.NRA Member

Tap-a-Talk....is there an advantage?
I love tapatalk. It keeps all the forums I'm a member of in order and easy to navigate. Very easy to post pictures in threads also.
Like said above it alerts you when a pm comes in or someone replied to a tread you subscribed to.
