    PS4 Can't Play Multiplayer on BF4

I just got a PS4 and the first game I got is BF4. The damn thing won't connect to multiplayer, only campaign. It keeps say connection to EA lost. Any ideas on what the problem is?

I have Playstation Plus to play online. I also rebooted my router like I've seen suggested elsewhere on the web, and now I'm pissed of because I spent all this $ and can't even get pwnd on multiplayer.

Battlefield 4 is broken on all platforms and has never really worked correctly. You are better off selling BF4 and getting something else. BF4 will not be completely fixed, it has really bad issues.

That sucks man, I pickd up an Xbox One last Friday with BF4 and it has been working fine for me. Even playing the 64 player games.

This really sucks. I got this because I don't really like the CoD games by Activision and prefer Infinity Ward, but now I might just have to get Ghosts.

Ackrite I have it on both PS4 and PC and both versions work fine. FIRST! You need to update your game, 2nd assault just released there is a likely a patch you're missing. Alot of the time the game will not update automatically, you'll either have to navigate the psn network, or alternatively log into the store from the main battlefield 4 menu. Assuming your internet connection is solid, you should be able to connect after that. Don't be surprised if the download is several gigs. You'd have the same issue on an xbox one.

Everything was updated, patched and solid internet connection.

I filled out a complaint form, or whatever it was, on the EA website and they called me within 15 minutes. Turns out, there was an issue on their end in regards to my EA account. The tech on the line fixed a few issues on my account settings and status and I was in action within minutes.

Probably has something to do with the fact that I opened my EA acct about 10 years ago on my PS2 with the then current Madden game and haven't used it since. Thanks for trying to help.

^^ Hey no problem! Have fun! BF4 is a great game, the learning curve is pretty high but you will benefit from employing common sense tactics, FLANK FLANK FLANK and always have the tools for the job. Try to refrain from blindly running around corners, use your mini map like a mad man ( if you hit the touch pad you get an expanded view, great for determining where armor is and if the enemy is pushing ), and maintain situational awareness always. Sadly, your common player cares little for playing the objective. PC and Console are the same in this respect :/ Hope you enjoy though.
