    what do you all think about adblock programs

    i never used it before but ads have really gotten out of hand on websights. i know the program takes revenue away from the owners, but i don't care anymore. every websight has pop ups with bright contrasting colors and every video has commercials. i am tired of it so i now use adblocker all the time and its great. no more bright green or yellow popups no flashing lights and i dont have to sit through tv commercials to watch a video on the internet. was just wondering what you guys thought of adblocker.

      Im using it now!!! It's cool. I actually donated a bit to the guy that made it. Seems fair.

              Blocking Unwanted Connections with a Hosts File

              This article provides details on blocking Ads, Banners, Parasites, and Hijackers, web bugs, possibly unwanted programs etc. with a custom HOSTS file


              I do this, it works well but some sites have placeholders that display under the ads, so it appears like they can see you're blocking ads.
