    MS Paint like program for Mac?

    Is there a free or open source MS Paint like program that I can run on Mac? NOthing fancy, just something to crop a few pictures and make a few notes on them. Preview just doesn't cut but MS paint would

        A half serious question… but isn’t the MAC OS supposed to be good at this sort of thing right out of the box? I mean, that’s kinda their thing right?

            Paint.Net was intended as the Free MS Paint replacement for Mac.

            Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows.


            Gimp should also do anything you need.

                Preview (free, included with the OS) will resize images, even batches. For annotation, Skitch is excellent.
