Brother are great printers. I had an older mfc series that broke, and was out of warranty. Called them just for the heck of it and they sent me a new printer and a bunch of ink. Depends on what type of printing you will be doing.
Our color prints and scans are with a HP 8600 premium plus.
Our black and white is with a HP 5 laser printer.Comment

This is a great printer. I have one myself and I just recommended it to my friend that was looking for a new MF printer. He just got it last week and absolutely loves it. Much smaller than his older HP MF printer.One of the Newegg Shell Shocker deals today is a Brother Multi-Function Printer/Scanner.
