Drop box & video

I have some video from this summers adventures I would like to share with the folks who were there. One of the guys mentioned Drop Box. Is it safe? Will they share the video anyone? Subscription or cost?

We use vimeo at work, isn't it play back only? I need to be able to have the download copies if they wish.

Thanks. I use it for music too "my sisters band no pirate stuff all though you could" and pictures its cool because you can get it on any computer or mobile device.

I love dropbox in the 9yrs I've been using them 2014 they had some major issues but I so believe its sorted out now.

Drop box is safe, if you have an iphone, you can get the free app, or there is a stand alone program for PC or Mac that is also free. It is just a data storage site where you can send people an e-mail or text message link and choose which files they have access to. Very safe and easy. There are a few youtube videos with easy tutorials.

Safe is one of those unknown with cloud based services. I believe in encryption of my files yes even my photos.

You can share a public link that link can be shared with someone you don't trust. Etc.

Box.com is temporarily offering 50gb if you have iphone ipad. Cloud storage i dont personally think is secure. Do i use it, yes. Do i use it for sensitive documents, yes, but its encrypted.

There are some other promotions that may get you the 50GB as well, I just got it using my LG phone. 50GB in the cloud is always nice.
