Wonder how good it actually is for $350. Images generated look very fauxflir. But from what I read it can read hand prints left on a wall. If thats the case I won't sell my iphone when the next gen comes out and permanently mount this on my dash to output to a nav screen.

i would like to know the range as well,could you aim it outside to see people or animals hiding in the bushes at night? after seeing it prob not looks like just a novelty type gizmo to impress your friends at the party.

Just watching Alaska State Troopers last night using some handheld FLIR units looking for a runner after a car chase. Might be a decent option for LEO until the ghetto bird can get on site, if at all.
