Iphone to field glass adapter?

I've been considering the purchase of one the modular adapters that will let you connect your iPhone to whatever telescopic glass you have. I want to connect my iPhone to my spotting scope and a telescope. I may even see if I can adapt to a scope on my .22.

I've seen a variety of different ones, but reviews on all seem to be mixed.

Anyone use one with your 5s? Opinions?

I use a 4" or 8" Meade reflector telescope as a spotting scope. The astrophotography cameras made photo/video really easy and higher quality.

I don't want to have to haul around a computer as is required of all of the more inexpensive cameras via the link you provided. This would be used only infrequently for hobby-level stuff, can't justify dropping that kind of dough on something like this.

I already have the 8MP Iphone and the glass... just need to mate the two.... and I've seen some good quality iPhone pics, particularly with the 5s.

I thought about getting this but not sure how long it would last. Doubt it would last mounted to my S&W 500, lol.
