OK, pc is clean left mouseclick and scroll wont work. Thoughts?

Kapersky, Malwarebytes pro, Windows Def, Avast pro boot scan, Symantec and several others all say it is clean.

    Toshiba Satelite C855D laptop
    Windows 8.1 64 bit
AMD E-11200 APU dual CPU 1.4 GHZ
    8192 MB RAM

    Works fine in Chrome.
I.E. 11 it sporadically will not let you click on the X to close a window out, or other left click items. It will not scroll period.

This also occurs sometimes running applications.

This is using a Logitech M510 cordless mouse, and the touchpad.

I used System Restore to put it back to where it was two weeks ago.

Overall I could simply not use I.E, but there aretimes when that is best, and also I don't like leaving a problem like this lurking.

IE 11 is new so it's probably some compatibility issue with the mouse and new browser. Check logitech website for updated drivers released 11/13. Chances are they will release something soon.

      Thanks for the input!
I forgot to mention that the same thing happenes with not only the touchpad, but with non- Logitech USB mice as well.

Like i mentioned try the manufacturers website first for drivers. Since these things are plug n play windows is most likely just using a generic driver. Windows updates will probably fix that eventually....

Does the problem happen to other user accounts on the machine?
If it does not, the problem could be a setting in the user's registry mixed with Logitech software?

How about removing Logitech software and see if it persists?

I'd bet it is just the current user's registry is whacked.
