Battlefield 4 on PS3 freezing

So frustrated, about 4 or so levels away from beating the game on campaign mode and it wont load. I was having previous freezing problems but got over that. Now I cant even play the game, not happy! Anyone else having this problem?

GPU? Im on a PS3 and no all my other games are fine Im playing GTA5 now and everything is all good.

yes..ps3's have gpus. and yours is about to dump as this is a bridge game...meaning its designed for next gen but they release it for current gen. its to be expected.

besides..EA knows people will buy it even though next gen comes out in like 10 days. its all money to them.

it would freeze my 360 till i installed the discs, plays much better now.

I had this issue and my bluray took a dump, but if all your other games are working but BF4, then it cant be that... .Strange. Has a patch recently came out when the problem started? **note, I do not have bf4, so I wouldn't know it patches are releasing**

I recently bought bf4 for my ps3, game loaded the opening scene under the water then it bricked my ps3. Called sony, they said ps3 is out of warranty and would cost $100 to fix it.

Needless to say I am not a happy camper. Now I will end up getting a ps4, which I did not want to do.

i know they patched the PC game so it will stop crashing, i don't think they have done anything about the 360 or PS3 yet.

on a side note i am learning to love and hate the battlepacks system. love it for the XP boosts (just got a 200% XP boost for one hour of game play) hate it because i am unable to set up my gun the way i want.

Because if you're looking at the console version, you're playing it on 7 year old hardware that wasn't even top of the line when it launched, same reason CoD's graphics haven't been updated in ages. Anyone telling you that the graphics are better in bf4 is most likely playing the PC version, where they definitely are better than CoD(ghosts might finally have an update that's worth a damn to the graphics, maybe).

BF4 is broke now. No progress is saved and all battlepack items have been deleted. Lost all paints and premium content.

PC version is still crashing as well. Not sure if they updated yet or what. I played for about an hour last might but still had a crash on the train map. I'm running a nvidia 560ti with the latest drivers.

I'm patient and the game is fantastic so hopefully these issues are addressed soon. Comparing COD to BF is like comparing apples to oranges. I like COD for a quick fix but nothing compares to the teamwork involved with BF.
