    annoying display screen issue

i arleady re-imaged the machine. drivers all udpated. i have 8gb ram. even the cpu and ram gadget show it's pretty well below max. but every now and then, a context menu pop-up sticks on my desktop screen. the only way to remove is go thru changing resolution, test it, revert back and then it's gone.

but at times, another context menu gets frozen on my desktop screen.

thoughts what might be causing it?

Usually if changing the resolution fixes this, it's the video card.

Does it go away if you drag any desktop icon over the menu?

no.. doesn't go away AmmoArnie. not even a desktop refresh (context menu) makes it go away. wasn't happening before when the unit was new. i'll just keep at it then. just kinda annoying seeing that ghost image there.
