    Covering your nice phone

I've come to realize that I'm in the minority here.
I just don't get the "naked" cell phone thing. That being said, most cell phones are very fragile devices that shatter their screens if dropped on a hard surface.
I see more shattered screens these days than ever before. iPhones seem to be the biggest culprit due to their popularity.
I've never been concerned with the style of the phone as much as the case that protects it. Let's face it, you really don't see the phone with the exception of the face if you put a case on it.
I keep reading bad reviews about the crappy plastic on my soon to be delivered Samsung Note 3. I say so what, I'm going to cover it anyway.
How many of you guys protect your phones with a good case?

I've been protecting my phone for a while now. When I got the Galaxy S3 I kinda went a bit overkill and got an otterbox as well as the military grade assault screen protector from zagg.

Never really liked having a case on my phones, I just pay extra for insurance and if I ever break it, I just get a new one.

No case on my S4 - I'm not a huge fan of the added weight/bulk.

I use a cheap Verizon case with holster (I like the belt clip) I don't something that big & fragile in my pockets.

I may get the otterbox though as I see they now have a belt clip.

I've talked with plenty of shattered screen phone users that don't and never have carried insurance. Just don't want to put on a case to protect there investment.
Fortunately I've never lost, had stolen, or broke a phone. I figure I'm pretty careful with my phone and insurance is just an expense I can live without. At $10 a month, I figure I could have paid full price for a replacement a couple times over in the last 25 years. Wow, saved 3k in 25 years!
Some cases look and feel much better than the naked phone itself.

Right now I have a carbon fiber sticker on the back of my iPhone with no screen protector.

All I use is a bumper style case on my iPhone 5. I just don't care to put a case on a phone that was designed to be thin and sleek, nor putting a screen protector on a screen that was meant to be crisp and vibrant.

                      But that's me.

I bought my dad an iPhone 5 last Christmas and I also gave him an Otterbox Defender cause I know he'll probably drop the thing.

I always put a case on my phone, but feeling a naked phone is oh so nice after you've had the case on for a while lol

I don't own a cell phone, nor do I want one. But if I did, it would depend on the design as to clothe it or not.

Magpul executive field case wrapped around my iPhone 4S. 2 years running and many fumbles later, not a scratch.
