If you don't have one, get yourself a IPS panel monitor. All the CPU and GPU power get will wasted if you end up displaying graphics and video with a monitor that cannot reproduce the color the artist meant them to be.

I was blown away when I switched from a regular monitor to one with IPS panel. Check out the Dell Ultrasharp series and look for their IPS panel monitors, they're great value for money.

That's next, but I did kind of run over budget on the box. I'm still doing the research on the monitor. Which one were you looking at? Surprisingly, the Dell UltraSharp line is getting a lot of good reviews.

I bought the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M, 24 inch IPS panel monitor. Don't buy it when it is not on sale, Dell frequently has deals on their monitor and you can look for coupons for their monitors in www.techbargains.com.
