Check clear. They have mobile hotspot devices for $35-$50 per month unlimited. Can attach 8 clients at a time (laptops, phones, roku, whatever... no hacking req).

No contract so if it doesn't work at the location you can cancel.

t-mobile plans have unlimited internet and tethering now. I have two lines on my family plan so the third device is only $10 per month for 500mb 4G and rest on 3G unlimited. You can pay more to have more data on 4G but I don't find it useful. Plus android phones now on t-mobile allows for tethering without additional software. The problem is will you get reception with t-mobile in more rural places. It's a crap shoot since I've been out in Nebraska on US80 and Verizon didn't have service while t-mobile did.
