**** i love the realism of arma but my 4k dollar pc build tends to stutter playing normal arma2. ****ing ati so no neg on this for me.

I played ARMA briefly. I didn't like the unrealistic combat model where you get shot and die right away. I lean strongly more toward the more realistic and lifelike combat model in the CoD games where I can get shredded by MG fire, hide behind a wall for a few seconds to heal, and then go back on the attack.

Beta is 36$ on steam and they fixed pretty much all of the optimization issues that ARMA 2 had. Runs like a beauty on both my gaming laptop from 2010 and my $2k computer.

Wait are you being sarcastic? I think you are ARMA 3 is the most realistic there is right now. ARMA-2 is the NATO/ U.S. Army's commerical version of Virutal battle Space 2.

Loving the game, Alpha was a bit hairy for a while with my 6770. Late alpha and the beta so far has been playing great though.
