    AIRAVE Airvana Sprint Access Point

Does anyone use or know if the AIRAVE Airvana Sprint Access Points work?

I guess the Samsung models are no longer supported by Sprint

When I was with Sprint, I used one and it worked fine. I still have it in my closet somewhere. If you are in a bad coverage area, call Sprint and tell them you were told by the Sprint store to call in and ask about an Airave and that the monthly fee would be waived because the reception is so bad. Sprint will send you an Airave for $100, then place a credit of $100 on your bill and also waive the monthly $5 charge.

I have one. It works great. Full bars and clear phone calls. The place I lived in before had zero bars unless you walked outside so I called sprint and told them something to the effect of: "You are selling contracts a block away and you have no service here?" (I was a first time sprint user about to return the service) They sent me this thing and it fixed the problem. For whatever reason that address was a dead spot. I moved to a new place and took it with me. We don't NEED it here but I leave it on anyway because it just gives a stronger signal.

Tell them you want the fee waived and you'll get it free.

I have a Samsung Airrave. Didn't know Sprint didn't support them any longer. I think mine is still working, but now I'll have to check.
