Got it..... Dreamweaver MAC Help - Irvine

    Finally got it.... Thanks much!

I need some help getting my files setup on to my MAC. I used an older version of DW on a PC and the new version CS6 is way above me. I would like to hire somebody to get me up and running.

You need to be familiar with the new MAC and Dreamweaver CS6 since I CLEARLY am not.

I'm in Irvine and you probably would need to come to me. Any time of the day or night is fine.

I just got done taking a class in Dreamweaver at the local community college. Go spend $50 or less on Adobe Dreamweaver Classroom in a box. It comes with an accompanying CD/DVD with lessons, and videos.

What exactly are you having issues with? You say setting up files. Do you mean you don't know how to set up a site? Are you trying to open or inport an existing site?

    Pleas be more specific.

Setting up a site. I'm having trouble connecting to the FTP Server. The new version is quite a bit different and to on top of that, my web host changed the format they used since I last used it 9 months ago. I was talking with server tech support and they thought it might be some setting in DW.

I'll check out the classroom in a box.... Great idea on the community college also....
